Italian Casserole With Biscuit Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (4 oz.) can tomato paste
    1/2 c. water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 can buttermilk biscuits
    1 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion, drain.
    Add tomato sauce, paste, water, garlic and spices.
    Simmer for 10 minutes.
    Remove from stove.
    Add vegetables and 3/4 cup cheese.
    Put in 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Arrange biscuits (that have been pulled apart to make two) in an oval over the top.
    Sprinkle with a little oregano and put the remaining 3/4 cup cheese in the center.
    Bake 25 minutes at 375\u00b0.
