German Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon, fried crisp
    2 c. water
    1 can tomato sauce
    3/4 head cabbage
    1 bell pepper
    1 fresh tomato
Preparation
    Bring to a boil the cabbage (cut up) and 2 cups water, then simmer until cabbage is done.
    If cooked in a good pan that does not require water, use half of water.
    Add the bell pepper (cut up), 1/4 cup tomato sauce, 1 fresh tomato (cut up) and salt and pepper to taste.
    Cook for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Add bacon (crisp).
