Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium sweet potatoes
1/2 c. margarine
1 3/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Peel and quarter potatoes.
Place in a boiler and barely cover with water.
Cook until the potatoes are slightly tender. Drain most of the water off.
Add sugar and margarine to the potatoes in the boiler.
Continue cooking until the liquid thickens.
If potatoes become to soft, remove them from the boiler and continue cooking the liquid until it is the right consistency and return the potatoes to the boiler.
