Cherry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can unsweetened cherries
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Heat cherries and 2/3 cup sugar.
    Melt butter in Pyrex dish. Mix dry ingredients for batter, then add milk.
    Add batter to butter in dish.
    Add cherries.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
