Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 or 5 eggs
    3 c. sifted flour (plain)
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. lemon flavor
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time until well beaten.
    Add all the dry ingredients together.
    Put lemon flavor into buttermilk and add to butter and egg mixture. Beat good and put in tube pan, well-greased.
    Cook at 325\u00b0 or 250\u00b0 or 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Ovens vary in cooking.
