Mom'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
1 pinch salt
2/3 c. shortening or oil
3 c. sifted flour
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. soda
2 c. sugar
1 c. hot water
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Place in a bowl in order given.
Do not mix until ingredients have been added.
Then mix well and bake at 350\u00b0 until done. Makes a 3 layer cake or a 9 x 13-inch loaf cake and 1 dozen cupcakes.
