Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large onions
    1 stick margarine
    grated Parmesan
    1 roll crushed Ritz crackers
Preparation
    Peel and slice onions into thin rings.
    Saute onions in margarine.
    Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes or until limp and opaque.
    Pour half of the onions into casserole dish.
    Cover with grated Parmesan cheese and crushed crackers.
    Pour remaining onions for next layer and repeat the cheese and cracker layer. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 until golden brown (about 30 minutes). Serves 6.
