Aunt Sada'S Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large or 3 medium ripe bananas, mashed
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    4 Tbsp. sour cream or 1/3 c. milk with 1 Tbsp. butter
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Beat shortening and sugar, add sour cream or milk and butter and cream well.
    Add beaten eggs, then mashed bananas.
    Have ready the dry sifted ingredients and vanilla.
    Mix and pour into a waxed-paper lined 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until done.
    Serve hot with butter or ice with your favorite frosting.
