Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 c. white Karo syrup
2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Boil sugar, syrup and water to 235\u00b0.
Add peanuts and butter; bring to 315\u00b0, stirring constantly.
When temperature reaches 315\u00b0 remove from heat and add baking soda.
Candy will fluff up fast. Mix quickly and spread thinly on a greased cookie sheet.
Makes approximately 3 pounds.
