Pumpkin Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 c. canned or fresh cooked pumpkin
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, unbeaten
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix well sugar, salt and spices.
    Combine with pumpkin, brown sugar and eggs, scalded evaporated milk and water.
    Stir until evenly blended.
    Pour into unbaked shell and bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Sprinkle with pecan topping. Return to oven and bake 10 minutes longer.
