Hearty Tomato-Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 slices bacon
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (15.5 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. thyme leaves
    1/8 tsp. thyme leaves
Preparation
    Cook bacon and crumble.
    Set aside.
    Cook onion and celery in 1 tablespoon of bacon drippings until crisp and tender.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Garnish with crumbled bacon.
    Makes six 1 1/3 cup servings.
