Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices bacon
    1 thinly sliced onion
    2 c. canned corn
    1 c. diced, cooked potatoes
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp in large saucepan.
    Remove bacon; pour off all but 3 tablespoons drippings.
    Add onion, separated into rings; cook until lightly browned.
    Add remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling; simmer a minute or two.
    Garnish with crumbled bacon.
