Old-Fashioned Sugar Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    2 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Heat milk to warm with butter until butter melts.
    Mix sugar and cornstarch together with fingers until well-blended.
    Pour into milk mixture, stirring constantly until it thickens.
    It will bubble like grits.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla.
    Mix well and pour into baked pie shell.
    Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on top.
    Refrigerate.
