Kitty'S Mock Cheese Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 pieces bread (crusts removed)
    1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 2/3 c. milk
    1/4 lb. butter
    1/2 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1/4 c. chopped onion, sauteed in butter
Preparation
    Butter bread pieces and cut in quarters.
    In a buttered casserole, place a layer of bread, then a layer of cheese to make 4 layers.
    Mix remaining ingredients and pour over layers.
    Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours, a must.
    Bake in pan of water at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
