Russian Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    2 1/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix thoroughly butter, sugar and vanilla. Work in flour, salt and nuts until dough holds together.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
    Place on ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until set, but not brown.
    While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
    Cool and then roll in confectioners sugar again.
    Makes several dozen.
