Chocolate Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. rolled oats
    3 c. boiling water
    1 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. cocoa
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix oats and water; set aside.
    Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Mix all ingredients.
    Bake in a greased and floured pan at 350\u00b0 for approximately 45 minutes.
