Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. blackberry jam
1 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cream butter until light, then gradually add both sugars. Beat until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Stir in the jam. Combine flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
Add milk and flour mixture alternately, beating well after each addition.
When mixture is smooth, pour into a greased and floured 10-inch square or similar capacity pan and bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven 35 to 40 minutes.
Cut into squares and serve warm with Bourbon Sauce.
