Hot Tamales - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. meal
    1 tsp. red pepper
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. chili powder
    3 tsp. cumin
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. melted shortening
    1 1/4 c. sweet milk
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well.
    Roll tamales about 1/2-inch thick and 4 to 6-inches long.
    Wrap individually in foil, making sure it wraps around 3 times. Twist ends.
    Place in boiling water. Cook for 30 minutes.
