Pepper Pot Roast(Serve With Noodles) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. peanut oil
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. boneless beef chuck roast
    4 c. sliced onions
    4 c. green pepper strips
    1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes
    1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. chopped celery with leaves
    2 bay leaves
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Heat oil in Dutch oven.
    Add meat and brown well. Add onions and saute.
    Return meat to Dutch oven; add pepper strips, tomatoes, tomato sauce, celery, bay leaves, salt, thyme and pepper.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 about two hours or until tender, basting occasionally with sauce.
