    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
