Tahitian Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. vegetable oil
    3/4 c. flour
    2 frying chickens, cut up
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 c. vinegar (about)
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Heat oil in a large skillet.
    Flour chicken and brown in hot oil.
    Meanwhile, mix remaining ingredients together in small bowl. Place chicken, when browned, in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan in a single layer.
    Pour soy mixture over chicken.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
