Old-Fashioned Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can sliced peaches, drained (reserve syrup)
1 extra large egg, beaten
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
whipped cream
nutmeg
Preparation

In heavy saucepan over low heat, combine butter, milk, peach syrup and beaten egg.
In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients and blend well.
Gradually add dry ingredients to the liquid mixture.
Stir constantly over medium heat until all dry ingredients are blended into the liquid.
Pour the cobbler batter into a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Scatter sliced peaches in the batter.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Cool.
To serve, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg.
