Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 2/3 c. hot water
3 Tbsp. flour
1/3 c. good vinegar
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Mix vinegar, water and eggs.
Add flour and sugar, which has been mixed together.
Cook in double boiler until thick.
Add butter.
Mix and pour into baked pie shell.
Beat 2 egg whites for meringue.
Add 6 tablespoons of sugar.
Cover filling and bake in oven until topping is brown.
