Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
6 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
3 Tbsp. honey, divided
1 3/4 c. milk
2 bananas
baked pie shell
1 c. heavy cream, whipped stiff
Preparation

Mix flour and milk.
Add beaten egg, corn syrup and 1 tablespoon honey.
Cook in top of double boiler over rapidly boiling water until thick.
Remove from fire.
Add vanilla.
Cool and pour into baked pie shell.
Slice bananas and spread over top of custard.
Top with the heavy cream, which has been whipped stiff and sweetened with 2 tablespoons honey.
Place in refrigerator.
