Tangy Twist Patty Melt - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 loaf rye bread
6 or 7 ground beef patties
1 medium size onion, sliced
10 slices white American cheese
10 slices sharp Cheddar cheese
Italian dressing seasoning
2 sticks margarine
Preparation

With stove on medium/high temperature, place frying pan or griddle iron on stove top.
Grease pan or griddle with one bottle cap full vegetable oil.
Cook ground beef patty as desired.
While cooking patties, saut onions.
In microwaveable dish, melt margarine; add Italian seasoning.
Brush this mixture on outside of bread slices with a basting brush.
Place bread, brushed side down on griddle to brown.
While patties are cooking, place two slices of cheese on top.
Add onions.
With spatula, add patty between toasted bread.
Slice diagonally.
