Creamy Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 carrot, diced small
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    1 stalk finely chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. cubed, raw potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 can undiluted Carnation evaporated milk
Preparation
    Combine ingredients in saucepan and cook on medium heat until potatoes are tender.
    Then add the can of evaporated milk.
    Serve hot, garnished with parsley, if desired.
