Pecan Tassies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. (1 stick) plus 1 Tbsp. butter, softened and divided
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    In a large bowl, beat 1/2 cup of butter and the cream cheese until creamy. Add the flour, beating until well combined. Cover and chill the dough for 30 minutes.
