Southern-Fried Baked Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak, trimmed
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    cooking oil
    1 onion, chopped
    1 c. beef broth
Preparation
    Pound steak to tenderize.
    Cut into serving-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
    Dust with flour.
    Combine milk and egg; dip meat into egg mixture and back in flour.
