Rum Nut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. (3 sticks) butter, softened
    1 box (1 lb.) light brown sugar
    1 c. white granulated sugar
    5 large eggs (room temperature)
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. rum
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together; set aside.
    Beat butter until light.
    Gradually add sugars and continue beating until very light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Combine rum, milk and vanilla.
    Add to batter, alternating with dry ingredients.
    Fold in nuts.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Makes 20 servings.
