Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large Vidalia onions, sliced
    1 stack Ritz crackers, crushed
    1 lb. medium hot sausage, browned and drained
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
    1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 small jar pimentos (optional)
Preparation
    Put sliced onions on bottom of a 12 x 7-inch casserole.
    Add layer of crushed crackers, sausage, then another layer of onions. Spread soup on top of onions and sprinkle with seasoned salt.
    Add the cheese and pimentos, if desired.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
