Soft Pretzels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
4 c. flour (approximately)
1 egg
coarse salt
Preparation

In large bowl, soften yeast in water.
Add salt and sugar. Mix in flour and knead to make a soft, smooth dough.
Do not let rise.
Cut into long thin pieces and make into pretzel shape.
Put on cookie sheet covered with foil and dusted with flour.
Brush pretzels with beaten egg and cover with coarse salt.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes, or until light brown.
