Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 eggs, separated
1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Blend sugar and flour.
Mix egg yolks with milk and add to dry ingredients.
Add butter.
Cook in double boiler until thick.
Add vanilla.
Pour into a baked pie shell.
Cover with meringue made from egg whites.
Brown in 325\u00b0 oven.
