Lowbush Cranberry Nut Bread With Simple Cranberry Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 oranges
milk or orange juice
6 Tbsp. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. cranberries
2 c. walnuts
Preparation

Grate the rind and squeeze the juice from both oranges and put in a measuring cup.
Add additional liquid (juice or milk) to make a total of 2 cups.
Mix liquid, butter, sugar and eggs in a bowl. Add flour, salt and baking powder.
Stir briefly.
Fold in cranberries and walnuts.
Spoon into greased and floured loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Best when it is cooled and wrapped overnight before slicing.
