Hot Mulled Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lemon peel
    1 tsp. whole or 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
    24 to 36 cloves
    3 sticks cinnamon
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 qt. apple cider
Preparation
    Combine lemon peel, allspice, cloves and cinnamon in cheese cloth.
    Mix all ingredients in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and then simmer 10 minutes.
    Remove spice bag.
    Serve hot.
    Can store in refrigerator and reheat as needed.
