Calico Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can English peas, thawed
1 can French-style green beans, drained
1 can Shoepeg corn, drained
1 c. chopped celery
1 small jar pimento, chopped
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. Wesson oil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
-
Mix peas, green beans, corn, celery and pimento.
Then boil sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper.
Pour over first mixture. Serve chilled.
This is better when prepared night before and refrigerated.
