Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    3/4 lb. sausage
    1 c. uncooked oats
    1 medium onion, grated
    1 c. chopped parsley
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. vegetable juice cocktail
    3 medium baking potatoes
    3 strips raw bacon
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Combine beef, sausage, oats, onion, parsley, eggs, basil, salt, pepper and vegetable juice.
    Mix well.
    Chill for 1 hour. Shape into loaf and arrange bacon slices on top.
    Bake for 15 minutes at 400\u00b0, then lower to 350\u00b0.
    Add potatoes.
    Bake for 45 minutes.
