Link Sausage With Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage links
    salt and pepper to taste
    6 apples
    6 medium onions
    6 medium sweet potatoes
    paprika
Preparation
    Cover sausage with cold water.
    Heat to boiling, drain.
    Place sausage in large baking dish.
    Cover with peeled sweet potatoes and onions. Season with salt, pepper and paprika.
    Cover.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for one hour.
    Uncover.
    Add apples which have been pared, cored and halved.
    Cover.
    Bake slowly until fruit is tender. Serve at once.
