Ingredients

1/2 c. raw rice
1/3 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. milk
2 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together and cook in covered double boiler until thickened and rice is done (approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours).
