Raisin Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. cream (half and half)
    3/4 c. white sugar
    3 egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 egg whites
    6 Tbsp. white sugar
    1 baked 8-inch pastry shell
Preparation
    Combine raisins and water.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Add next five ingredients which have been mixed into a smooth paste.
    Cook over direct heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
    Pour into baked pastry shell.
    Beat egg whites until frothy.
    Add white sugar gradually.
    Beat until stiff peaks are formed.
    Top pie filling with meringue and bake at 400\u00b0 until lightly browned.
