Blueberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. blueberries
    flour (for blueberries)
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Set aside.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Set aside.
    Cream shortening and sugar; add well beaten egg yolks.
    To this, add alternately the flour mixture and the milk.
    Fold in egg whites and vanilla.
    Add floured blueberries.
    Use a 9 x 9-inch pan or a tube pan, either should be greased and floured.
    Sprinkle batter with sugar for a topping.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Very good.
