Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 stick butter
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. syrup
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Mix sugar, butter and eggs.
    Add flour and syrup, then add all spices, soda and last, adding 1 cup of boiling water.
    Bake for 30 minutes or until bread begins to leave sides of pan.
    This is soupy, but it is delicious.
