Roasted Carrots With Garlic(Serves 4) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large carrots, peeled, trimmed and split lengthwise
    1 Tbsp. olive oil, cold pressed (virgin)
    2 Tbsp. water
    8 small garlic cloves, peeled but left whole
    salt
    freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Arrange carrots in 9 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Add oil, water and garlic cloves.
    Cover with foil and bake until carrots are tender, about 30 minutes.
    Uncover and turn carrots.
    Bake until lightly brown, about 15 minutes longer. Sprinkle lightly with salt and with freshly ground black pepper to taste and serve.
