Mac-Reuben Hot Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (7 oz.) pkg. macaroni (2 c. uncooked; 1/2 the noodles are enough)
    2 (6 3/4 oz.) cans chunk ham or diced corned beef
    1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained
    3 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
    1 c. diced, buttered rye bread
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped pimiento, drained
    1/2 c. sliced green onion
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. grated Swiss cheese
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Prepare noodles; drain.
    Combine cooked macaroni, ham, pimiento and green onions.
    In medium saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour.
    Gradually stir in milk.
    Cook and stir until slightly thickened.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in cheese, mustard and pepper. Combine cheese sauce with macaroni mixture.
    Put half in 3-quart baking dish; layer with sauerkraut and top with remaining macaroni.
    Garnish with diced rye bread.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
