Caramel Dumplings - cooking recipe

2 1/2 c. hot water
1 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Brown 1/2 cup sugar to\tdark brown in skillet.\tAdd hot water and 1 cup sugar;
boil
to\tdissolve,
about 3 to 5 minutes.
Add salt and butter.
