Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. soft shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Mix together soft shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs thoroughly.
Sift together soda, sifted flour, salt and cream of tartar and stir in.
Chill dough.
