Pickles (Refrigerator) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 small garlic bud
    1 onion, sliced
    cucumbers, in slices or strips
Preparation
    Boil first four ingredients and set aside to cool.
    Slice cucumbers, garlic and onion; pour mixture over cucumbers and let stand for 3 days before eating.
    Will stay in refrigerator for weeks.
