1, 2, 3, 4 Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Beat in eggs.
    Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately with milk to creamed mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake in greased and floured layer pans at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
