Vegetable Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 strips bacon
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 c. yellow squash, chopped
1 c. zucchini, chopped
3 carrots, chopped
3 medium potatoes, chopped
1 can corn, drained
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. butter
2 chicken bouillon cubes
2 c. water
2 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Fry bacon and put on paper towel to drain.
In bacon grease, saute next 6 ingredients for 2 minutes.
Put in a large pot and add corn, water, bouillon cubes and cornstarch.
Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Add butter and milk.
Cook for 20 minutes at low heat.
Salt and pepper to taste.
