Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter (1 1/2 sticks)
    1 lb. box light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt butter in medium pan; add brown sugar.
    Mix and cool. Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0 in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
