Christmas Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium bananas, peeled and sliced
    1 c. sliced green grapes
    16 oz. sour cream
    1 c. coarsely chopped maraschino cherries
    1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. fresh grated lemon peel
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients until well mixed.
    Pour into 2-quart shallow casserole dish or mold.
    Freeze overnight.
    Stand at room temperature 15 to 20 minutes before cutting or unmolding.
    Cut into 8 or 10 squares or slices.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings.
